The position
Reporting to the COJ Communications Department, you will oversee the entire digital strategy for the 2027 Tahiti Pacific Games. You will be the main point of contact for external agencies and the in-house creative team. This role has been created as part of efforts to strengthen the communications team ahead of the Games.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the digital communication strategy (social media, official website, newsletter, paid campaigns)
- Coordinate a team of three content managers and community managers
- Monitor digital KPIs and report to senior management
- Managing relationships with digital agencies
- Provide real-time digital coverage during the Games (July–August 2027)
Required profile
- Higher education in communication, digital marketing or equivalent (4–5 years of higher education)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in events or sport
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools and content management systems
- Excellent written French; fluent English is essential
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
